and also , i don't mind modifiers for retreating inf as some say.

Removing the retreat button with the speedup would just brake the metagameplay , if you don't believe , go play a game and retreat inf by yourself.

and while running back,they become much less vulnerable to fire,cant be supressed,crushed etc. and wear boots of speed,yea,not magical at all  Roll Eyes

no because infantry do not teleport to spawn when you click the button , they have to run back

They run back, with a speed buff, and defensive modifiers. They don't have to drive back, possibly with engine damage, and try to escape.

Why are you so afraid of losing your infantry?

Then remove the speed modifiers and all defensive modifiers, make them count as in red cover at all times since they are obviously not trying to avoid getting shot at and that should work.

Also, it shouldn't break suppression.

removing speed modifier and not breaking suppression will bork it.

What you fail to see or troll on purpose is that, the infantry needs speedup and brake suppression on retreat for gameplay reasons , while there is no other single reason for repairing tanks on spawn and being able to retreat them other than not paying attention to your units at back .
