Tbh, I'm fine with vet how it stands at the moment. It tends to make you a bit more survivable at vet 1, makes you stand your ground better at vet 2, and let you give out some punishment at vet 3. My only gripe is that I have to go back to the launcher to get to the next veterancy level after vet 1.

We're working on getting this out of the way for you guys pretty soon. Wink

I'd also like the ability to name units at vet 5 (when/if they reach it). They had something similar in the Operation Market Garden mod and it's a nice little touch of customization you can give your units.

^They said that it'l be added with V5 when, ofc, the 5 vet levels are added. Im also curious about how you'd go about changing the name of the unit (Imagine a blob of vetted KCH named 'Totally Not Deathblob' or something mildly genetically retarded to that effect).

Vet, as it stands, is perfect IMO. Maybe add in the suggestion that all levels of vet grant all of the bonuses in smaller doses (so 1/3 of your total health/received dmg/acc or damage bonuses per vet level), which would promote the persistency even more--vet1 units would only be a tad better then v0, so having v3 would give you much more bang for your buck--while still getting a lil' bit of everything with all the previous levels.

Units in-game actually do vet up, once they gain dat' star after killing something, they're statistically that level of vet (so a vet1 HT gibbs a sniper somehow, gets a star, its vet2 with whatever bonus). You just have to upgrade it in the launcher, or else you'll be perpetually stuck in vet2 land till you choose to upgrade it.

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.
