Deciding to divide a full game into 3 equally-priced expansions solely to make $180 from its fanatical adherents kind of pushes the boundaries of business ethics in my opinion.

Just buy the last $40 expansion when it comes out.

Hey, never did I say I had any wish to buy their products. If I ever wanted to play a "AAA RTS Campaign", I sure as hell wouldn't pay for it.

If it bothers you that much that you must know, very well. I question it because it's an excersise in human futility. The lack of face-to-face interaction on forums and message boards can prompt people to abandon the standards of courtesy that you would have in a normal offline conversation. Not knowing who someone really is can prompt you to (albeit subconsciously) dehumanize them to some degree. This inherently will inflate the ego somewhat, and a side effect of such is that you are less prone to accept other's opinions or ideas as truth. Therefore, with each person going into an argument feeling as if they are the correct one and nothing will ever change that, it is nigh impossible to reach a sound conclusion, thus, it is futile to even bother arguing on the internet.

I would agree that arguing on the internet gives privilege to, everyone, to argue and point that they wish to put forward, without actual background information of said person so the reliability might be off. However, that said, the internet, also gives the possibility for people who have something to say, however are not trained in the art of debating there point of view. For example, ive been in many debates, dramatization, acting and speechs etc.  I have the ability to talk on my feet very quickly and spin the truth to suit my ends, im like a spindoctor. However, not many people have the ability to persuade others of point of views because they do not have the debating ability.

Ive infact being involved in experiments at my University where i was debating against a student who was, the quite courteous type who was actual doing quite good in the subject. It was on political terrorism, i had no prior study in the unit but was given 2 sheets of information to get a feel for, and use that information and the information that my opposing debater was speaking. Needless to say, i was able to persuade the audience of some bullshit i made up because i was able to twist his words and make him sound wrong every time.

anyways, the point that im making is that, with the internet, etc furoms, the ability to lay out your argument in word form is an essential tool to help everyone be able debate and argue because there is no face to face interation. Yes there is some stupid moments, but its just because they do not have enough information to back up there claims so they throw our ad hominems and logical fallcies and shit.

so i disagree that it is futile to argue on the internet, look on the furoms, there are times where we agree due to hard facts that were presented.

Alot of people on GR are saying it's gonna be the african theatre, and I believe them because there really are some things that make it obvious like why else would they start up a news article on vehicles specifically from the African theater each week after they closed COH-O down?!


A german game site says its proven that CoH2 is coming.

(Basically: Relic is making CoH2 and although they don't have a releasedate it will presumably be in Q4 2011.) I'm also quite sure they will be using the CoHO interface for it, there is a very high chance atleast (all that wasted money).




For a real confirmation we are gonna have to wait until august, though. Anyone find EIRRMods quote that said he will make EIR for CoH 2 when it comes out? :p

My bet is is that it will indeed be CoH 2 with the african theatre. It would be awesome anyways, don't feel like eastern front. That or Vietnam

Dammit, I got really excited when I glanced at a list of upcoming presentations at Gamescom, saw "CoH", eagerly checked to see if it was a confirmation of a sequel then discovered it was some stupid City of Heroes expansion pack...

Source? Because they did say that they were making Dawn of War III, which actually sounds like it could be half-decent, but they also said it's not what they're announcing at Gamescom from what I read.
