Why does the V-1 have drift? this weapon already has a supre long delay and a HUGE warning noise, the drift makes it so random and chancy that its not worth a Tier 2.
As it is if you hear it, scatter and you save your stuff. Its not even good anymore for static stuff

You just said why it is good to have a drift. People scatter. Someone is unlucky. BOOM shit gone

Ehhh... I've only seen this thing miss and never hit anything... Does the allied giant freaking airstrike have silly scatter to?

If you are talking about the Landcaster, then yeah, I has a scatter of sorts.

Lancaster is predictable. The plane always delivers the same distance short of the target. If you have LOS behind the target, you're good to go.

Lancaster works because your opponent is so busy tending to their bleeding ear drums, they forget to move their units out of harms way.

I personally never found the Lancaster sounds to be particularily loud. Also I've had many instances where the V1 drift has made the rocket land dead on the units that were retreating from the original landing site.

TBH, lancaster sound is retarded. YEAH I"M HEARIN THAT BITCH START UP ALL THE WAY OVER IN ENGLAND. OHITHERE IT JUST MADE IT TO FRANCE IN FUCKIN 4 SECONDS.
Not to mention the sound kicks in as soon as you activate, V1's sound is delayed a few seconds. Every moment counts when trying to GTFO of that thing.

only time Lancaster works is if someone isn't paying attention or its a repairing tank.

Even then i have missed a repairing tank.... The time needs to be shortened ssince it drops from a plane, At least with a V1 you have NO IDEA where it is going to hit, With the landcaster its in astraight line from the plane....

usually someone drops it where the units are,you know, not in the middle of nowhere...you might get lucky sometimes with the drift and kill something, but trying to hit targets that can move with v1 usually ends with V1 doing nothing.

Usually? Unless its a stationary target, I never drop where the units are located - instead I create a threat/risk to the target(s) and then drop on their evacuation route.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.
That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

but you dont know in which direction enemy will move + drift=quite small chance of killing stuff.

Yeah, I do. The drift is small enough that if they are running into the epi-center of the V1 drift, then I will get something. I create a threat/risk to the target(s) and then drop on their evacuation route.
