simple change: add a delay after it has been locked downed

players are just not used to the fact that they cannot counter a tank with infantry, no matter how good the micro is.

why delay it can be killed so easily that it is ok , i lost 3 of them already it is too slow that ally tanks can easily catch up and kill it and slugger can kill it in 2 shots so it is not OP so no changes needed

i think we finally have something which will wipe out the ally inf spams which never runs out,those ally player now have something really to fear apart from tanks coz ,most of the axis units r just too weak to face any ally inf  Cheesy

they are only really devastating when they have normal movement with the medikit activated and pills, but even then all it takes is for the wise allied player to enjoy his vast selection of AI vehicles/tanks to scare them or make them fail at their job.

2 bar squads also pin them, even at vet 3

however, if the rifles are getting supressed by a supporting mg42, the mid t4 perv pills vet 3 four man kch squad can just roflpwn like 18 men in a few seconds

Stop charging dual MGs strait on then nub. A oak can easily pwn 2 mgs with a small flank. Hell a oak using assault will pwn two from the front.

I'm speaking from the perspective of the MG's ;-) I don't even use Oak Leafs and would never charge head on into an MG. This accusation is baseless.

I doubt 1 Oak Leaf KCH can take 2 30 cals without Assault

Lockdown needs to have a longer timer, tbh. It's more fearsome than the pz4IST by far, and has the same armor, afaik. I've seen plenty of them, and just like the lolchafee, they're all vet 3.

the unit is nuts. It fires off like 10 37mm shells in the space of 1.5-2s or something. Theres a reason CoH doesn't use historical information for it's units. Otherwise the Ostwind would have already been doing this. It needs a tweak for sure.

Needs reduction in fire rate, but probably not lockdown penalty. The current problem is it can face off an ATG and wipe it out, or catch an inf squad and annihilate it without chance of escape.

If it had a lockdown penalty no one would ever get close and it would just be a waste of fuel. Ostwinds already have no useful mobility, and this thing is just doubling the power; it's the damage that makes it way too powerful.

Would you rather it never see action or do a reasonable amount of damage? If it had a penalty no one would ever get near it. Currently it's not hard to get it into action but the rate of fire means it's like a instagib weapon, albeit with a short lifespan.

what if it didn't have to lockdown, maybe give it a high aim to fire or wind up and wind down and make it so it has to sit still to fire. all that together will equal lockdown and u can change the time of the wind up and wind down to balance.

That sounds fine, it just seems funny to me that the thing is needed in the first place... I mean it has the same gun and chassis as an Ostwind, are we just adding new crap for the hell of it?
