There is this saying called "Keep it simple stupid" and I think this really needs to be applied here in EIRR. You are just trying to over complicate something that could be very simple. That's why weapons cache is just not working, and will never work properly. I propose to hard cap certain units/abilities this way they can not be overly spammed which is the main gripe and why the system was put into place. A hard cap would be pretty simple, in that you wouldn't need to go over and balance hundreds of units/upgrades, making everyone extremely displeased in the process. I really love EIRR and I appreciate all the hard work the devs put in to make this possible to play. Currently I can not enjoy the game I once loved because of a broken weapons cache system which doesn't really effect any of my allied companies but makes my axis counterparts completely useless/boring. This is just a poll to see how everyone else feels on the matter because maybe it is just me who is deeply saddened by not enjoying something that I used to love playing.

At first it was difficult to adjust, but I changed my company to be within weapon cache guidelines. Now I kick ass harder than before on Axis.

only reason for this might be that allies are screwed so you are doing better. I see no logic how you can buildt more effective coy when it's restricted in so many ways.

Well, I replaced all but one of my schrecks with vehicle mines and mg bunkers.

It's better this way.

I agree with the principle of restricting or punishing the amount of spams, but right now its just horrible pricing that isnt helping.

This mod still has balancing of units to do, pricing, pop, bugs, doctrines, unlocks, and the huge project of the warmap. to toss in another variable of balancing seems like another task to throw in to this whole mess.

not sure once the whole pricing thing is adjusted things will work out. If it does how long will that take? Some upgrades or units are still unreasonably over/under priced.

I originally thought the idea was to increase the price per purchase once it goes over a certain amount of purchases.  Like KCH price is normal until you go over 4 and each additional cost more, until reaching a cost cap.

OR, just add an MP cost to unit upgrades....

That way you can have a lot of naked Volks, or a few less MP40 armed volks. Or the same number of Volks but less support and armor.

Amazing how that simple change would work right.

I didnt know how OP spamming single LMGs was before weapon cache. Finally, limitation.
And unvetted riflemen with stickies and grenades are now under the control of the System.
Tired of these spammers and their upgrades. Tired of them beating me with their max ranger spam companies.
Shit's overpowered and needed to go.

I say go back to the old way.  Currently weapon cache doesn't affect any of my allied companies (I can still run pure thompsons and pure piat commando squads with nothing but commando HMGs) but all my Wehr companies are simply unplayable now.  My Defensive has 1000+ MU I can't spend anymore.
