Google wont let it happen.  Considering its entire search engine is based on site interlinking.  If websites stop linking other sites, their search engine wont work anymore or will not be as good as it is now.

piracy can never be stopped

Piracy can be stopped by providing a better product. That's why Itunes and Steam are so successful. Sadly the industry does not want to change so instead they consider all new technology heretical and try to maintain the old ways. And sadly this hurts both the consumers and the companies.

why do you think that people will buy games(sp ones,specially when you take into the fact that game might only interest you for few day) or buy every movie they wish to watch?
Will I shell out 50-60$ for every game I wish to try,hell no!
Will I buy every movie I wish to watch,ofcourse not...
It's same with alot of people + alot of people from country's that dont have great economy,simply dont have the money.

People who pirate will almost always pirate, as such they should never be really bothered with as they won't spend the money any which way. But you can force a person into piracy because some hacked games just don't have things like starforce bogging down and fucking your system.

I have a buddy who is the prime example of this, hes never bought a game in his life, his library is full of pirated shit. Then one day he was over saw steam grabbed it at home, and now has bought around 50 games off of it and loves it. Hes also a huge fan of netflix for just watching movies and tv shows for the same reason.

agreed. piracy is much easier as compared to the myriad of ways they try to screw you over and make it hard for those doing the riight thing. provide a better interface and product and we'll buy. rush games out, have a multitude of bugs and make me jump thru  hoops just to update, boo.

btw, steam is a perfect example, you can pirate a steam product but why? steam is awesome, its simple, support is automatic, there are dedicated forums for each game that are easy to find and their mp servers rarely go down.

USA has a fine tradition of increasing the freedom and power of corporations at the expense of pretty much everyone else, this is just another step in this direction.

USA isn't so much of a democracy today, it's more like a state run collectively by the biggest corporations.
