Special question:
Is there a increased received accuracy modifier in EIR:R while a squad is using a medi kit? (like vCOH)

there is no increased recived accuracy while using medkits in vcoh

just the -1 movementspeed and medkits in vcoh heal 50% faster afaik

but according falls they heal faster as on grens especially if you look at the low hp but better armor type and they are much cheaper afaik

Hmpf. Thanks for correction - It seems that my ability to remember something failed right in time.  Grin

In this replay the 88 crew got nearly killed and then the medikit pops and then the crew regenerates it's healthpoint
faster as the crocodile could damage them. (And the crocodile is awesome against infantry!)

What i want to say with it: Is it not to easy, when a hardcounter can be disabled with just a medikit? Or got
the crocodile at this replay just unlucky and was supposed to be doomed because it has make no criticals to the 88 crew?

(I hate the word overpowered and i don't want to start a discussion about the medi kits)

did not watchted the replay but:

if its the original crew the croc has some chances for crits even when their health is in "green area"
if flak got recrewed before its afaik not possible for croc to crit in "green health"

but generally if you attack with a croc or flamers a flak (especially when a medbunker is around) you really want to damage it (the crew - not the gun) by something else before (like using artillery or a mortar etc.) charging in the croc
otherwise medkits or medbunker can cause some trouble using flamers or croc etc.

I can't remember the exact scene but i'm really sure that it was the first crew. The Fallschirmjäger build so much bushes/hedges etc. around the 88
that you couldn't see it anymore. Before the shermand crocilde charged at the side from the 88 it was damaged by a few barrages but they didn't
do any serious damage against the 88/-crew.

and the flak is hardcounter to tanks/vehicles so it might be not that smart to attack it with tanks anyways

but when it comes to flak there are other balance issues that i already named several times (to good vs. inf, to good vs. support weapons, to much accuracy of ATGs vs flaks, to high build time)

but they don't want to change anything about the flaks (like in vcoh where it got nerfed vs inf) so i dunno

This is probably a stupid question, but oh well.....

Does the croc target the crew or the gun? Or is it the same thing in regards to killing the crew?

It has buffs for the units you use most (Falls and Luftwaffe) and some buffs for other units as well for support, it doesnt overly buff anything

i agree with nightrain, FJs needs to be powerfull to stand up to allied infantry, i dont want to need to spam PGs to the end of the earth to counter a few SMG rangers. Beisdes, falls are a HUGE manpower munitions dump if you decide to buy them. They arent overpowerd and are most definatly glass cannons, as top t4 doesnt get any armor buffs and they are just simply Pgrens with cloak. you cannt get moving cloak if you go bottom t4 to get the airbourne armor.

Well like I said, you could just have doctrine abilities affect unit pricing.
To be fair, if a new player comes into the mod and simply doesn't stand a chance versus someone simply because he is a higher level (and thus has a lot more vet and doctrine abilities) rather than because he is more skilled, then there is a serious issue. THAT would actually be deying the rules of competetive and fun gaming, sine competetive gaming is only possible when skill is the only factor in play between competing players and it certainly isn't fun losing games because you are less developed than the other player.

Most MMO games solve this by seperating 'lower developed' accounts from 'higher development' ones, something that is not possible in EIR due to the small playerbase. As a result we DO need to find some way to mitigate the discrepency and at least bring that discrepency to an 'acceptable' level. (Which arguably currently isn't the case since you could effectively be a lvl 5 company facing off vs a level 9) With the warmap, when the grind is largely removed, that doctrine tier discrepency will largely be mitigated.

Its been discussed.  Nobody cares.  I have tried to talk about it and even offered services to get the starting framework started so we can do proper ranking.
All has gone basically on deaf ears.  Read the topic yourself.  Perhaps you missed it.

I have given up on helping.  The mod is that way it wants to be and that's that.  And for the record I know my shit.

Apparently you also dont research, but if you 'know your shit' then thats not needed anymore?  I wouldnt know, I guess I dont 'know my shit' ;p

Even in THIS thread I have mentioned one particular way that the mitigation between lower and 'higher' companies will be handled.
