Which is just stupid, if storms counter your company, you need to have a counter for them.  To do otherwise and then complain is just ridiculous.

Microing a sniper is much driffrent from using storms, 1 unit who gets countered by a unit who gets specific bonuses to kill that unit is not the same as a 4 man squad who can carry a med pack and is affected by doctrine bonuses such as blitzkrieg.

A med pack won't save you from a sniper bullet! From my experience, if an enemy knows that you have a sniper on the field, they're usually reluctant to push storms forward. Storms cost more than snipers from memory, too (with shreks).

Storms aren't the hardest unit in the game to counter, they're just not as straightforward. The four points I stated above is what I used to use to counter storms, and rarely did I have a problem with them.

Really with the sniper, all you need to do is keep it behind your frontline, because storms need to be reasonably close to hit anything. If they're attacking shermans, then the sherman will also get a shot off on the storms before they can run away too. If you can take out one or two men per storm volley, you're winning in my books. When we start talking about LV's like M8's then the conversation is a little different, but I never used LV's seriously anyway .

I understand what you're saying Computer, and i've probably already tried to get my point across by using scenarios which is a horrible way to do so, but really, how can storms be OP at 250/300 mu or whatever they cost now? Sure, they have a massively high damage output and survivability, but they have a really high cost and a couple of glaring weaknesses being with the elite armour t4 and tank accuracy, snipers still one shotting, often being shot after barraging due to slow cloak times.

In the end, like every other unit, it's risk vs reward. Just on a much larger scale!

Meh, you talk about doctrine choices good at countering storms, but storms themselves are a very small doctrine investment as a T1 and while certain british doctrine choices are exellent at turning down ambush strategies, his stormtroopers will still be effective against other builds while you as commandos or RE will be giving up combat buffs for your detection.

For americans I have no comment really, because their units are sacrificial, good at chasing and have the BAR to pin them. Stormies are don't plague them to the same degree. Outside of doctrines, brits dont have any of that shit and the CCT spam is a problem in itself because its stupidly tough for cost.

storms are gay the idea of using a jeep to counter unrealistic. and we only have enigma decoded inc ommando doctrine that counters that.

only 1 doctrine has storms,only 1 doc has 'super' counter to them...

2 Allied doctrines get Mark Target (C.mando & Armour)
and C.mando doctrine has THE BEST awareness abilities (Enigma Decoded, Ultra Decryption{Mark Target}, Radio Triangulation, C.mando jeep)

Put the CCT behind a shot blocker, lock that shit down, it's GG Storms, seeya in the launcher
