On this general topic, I think we can do some cool objective-based attack/defend maps with OF!

Stick a couple Pantherturms (sp?) and a mortar pit along with some fortifications in an area. Make the map so that it only has one medium-sized sector, start the attackers with like 300 points and the defenders with 30 points. Give the defenders like 5 minutes to dig in.

You'd also need to start with higher popcaps so the defenders arnt forced to pull out of the bunkers heh

The Royal Scots defense mission was one of my favorite parts of OF Smiley

How often is a VP 'tick' anyway? Every 10 seconds?

This may be the most offensive thing I've read.  At least, today.

I dont know man, those 81mm mortar bunkers are rough. I think they would be pretty much OP.

Then again I am starting a new map (The Tulip Fields will be released tonight) called Sword Beach, based off a map from a game call Offensive, which basically got me into RTS games. It will have a couple bunkers, and more than likely a 81mil bunker, but it will be far forward, so likely overrun quickly. I would recommend placing charges on it early Smiley

A 3v3 me thinks so my most ambitious map ever

A completely unfair map would be awesome, especially if the teams could be stacked (numerical) to offset the map advantage.
