Multiple video cards

Hey

Im re building my pc for a bit better motherboard then my old one
The new motherboard is ASUS PSE

Thing is i have another video card which im wondering if can run SLI with it along with geforce 460.

They both fit the slots PCI express, but im wondering if they can work as SLI, i read at nvidia that they are both SLI compatible but i've read somewhere that they must be identical? and some other websites says some different video cards works togheter..

Anyone know anything regarding this..

And if it does work how do i set this up.. Anyone running SLI out there?

I don't know. SLI is a bad idea in my opinion. Most games don't know how to properly use it, and most games are optimized to run on one vcard so you end up twice as much for only a marginal increase in performance because of all the wasted power.
