These (helmets specifically) knights remind me of something sci fi, or is it just me?

What game is that, looks kind of Total War-esque.

I know what series you are thinking about, but I can't remember the name.

And yes, what game is it. I like knights.

Well I had to name it something  Cheesy

Anyway, the game is King Arthur II: The roleplaying wargame
It's what it sounds like, both the first and second games are RPG/Total War hybrids... And they are glorious games...

They also get magic right, One well placed meteor = Dead squads

I got a idea:
Maybe we should start a balance thread and we're able to buff the useless phosphorous strike with a meteor.
(Both are anti infantry based).  Grin

Yeah it just came out apparently. This game looks decent, I may give it a shot. Too bad there's no demo on Steam yet.

King Arthur is good, but personally I hate that every fight takes half an hour, even the ones where you know you're clearly going to win. The text based quests are epic and the decisions are even better.

You can play the first one if you wish, it's cheaper and still a good game.

Oh, it's the "Death & Wenches" king arthur, it's a really dark setting tbh... and it's sweet.
You can totally play a tyrant, mass murdering king Cheesy

A turn based japanese strategy game for the xbox360 called Operation Darkness, the kind were you have a squad and move em around...

It's set in WWII... only your squad has werewolves in it, and hitler has dragons... and the nazis are vampires... and they can raise the dead to, so naziombievampires  Wink

From what I know it got slammed even thou I personally liked the demo, the fuckers never bothered to give it a european release thou so I'll never get to play it myself...

So yeah, Obscure strategy games? I have em covered for the most part  Wink

My buddy bought it for xbox way back, we had a shit load of fun with it even though the reviewers hated on it.

I thought the leveling and turn based mechanic used worked for it, really wish i could have played it through. Fond memories of battling a dragon with a Sherman though.

My mouth still wets at the trailer footage of werewolves battling dragons with bazookas...
That, and I remember those cover commands and I'd link everone to move at once in the demo, that was fun Wink

Actually, I remember that in the demo, beating the tank that appeared was hard... on the second try I figured out some characthers could turn into warewolves and suddenly you could bazooka that tank without getting 1 shotted...

Nah, fuck reviews, I still really want to play this... Anyone know if it's region locked or not?
