On the helicopters part, only noobs fail to a single guy massing helicopters.

We had a 3v3 and rushed their highway with Pudding's heli's only... they all cried and quit, and I'm like 'Why don't you guys take AA to stop this' and they were like 'Whats the point in bringing AA?'

You can't help stupid. That's like EIRR 3 players bringing a Tiger and all 3 allies not bringing any AT at all.  Helis are VERY costly to lose and can hurt your team badly.  Remember the scoring mode is say... game is 3000 points to win, losing infantry and a half track is like 25 points.  Losing a heli is anywhere from 100-175 points (With the impressive abrams tank clocking in around 100-135 points, depending on model).

And also helis are VERY vulnerable to small arms fire.  My infantry column start has about 32 squads of 10 man infantry (320), plus 32 armored M113s with .50 cal machine guns.  About half of those guys are armed with stinger missiles.  Had a guy 'rush' me thinking he could take me out, shot down 8 of his chopters and lost 4 halftracks, no infantry killed.  So that puts them up 10 points a halftrack (at 40) and they are down 800 points.  See what I'm getting at?

The game has a few game modes, and two victory conditions: time or score (score is much more fun).

You can send supplies to your allies (and is a must if someone is running an expensive army and can't buy supply vehicles), and most games last between 15-25 minutes, which means I can easily get 2-3 games of WEE in the same time as one EIRR game.  There are a LOT of people playing the game too (usually 400-600 at all times) and the system req isn't that high.

There were too many choppers to be stopped by SAMs and Tunguska, in fact, we destroyed their AA with Helicopters during that fight.

As for expensive, my UH-1C HOGs cost me 25 points each and launch 98 rockets per minute. They DESTROY any soft unit like AA. I can easily take out any AA with an equal points cost of choppers. I think in that game I had about 45 UH-1C's of various armament (dual rocket rack, rocket rack and 40mm grenade launcher, miniguns and dual rocket rack) as well as some Heli mounted infantry and ATGM's just in case with some Stinger toting AA choppers running around as well.

IF 3 players mass spam something aggressive like choppers (and you only need to hunt and kill all their command vehicles to win a game) there is nothing you can do except hope you spent half you points on AA...which leads to you getting rolled by armor.

There are definitely some balance issues, but it's fun just to troll. The only downside is I have never had a feeling of "intensity" in this game, whereas in EIRR in a good game I get that good ol' pucker feeling.

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

Here's the unit list from the official website
http://wargame-ee.com/index.php?rub=database&camps=1

British have SAS, Green Jackets, Paratroopers, Challenger Tank, 3 types of Chieftain Tanks... I didn't bother to check the rest.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

The special Infantry are actually really good.

Delta/SAS/Spetz/etc are all devastating, being fast moving and hard hitting. Their accuracy lets them destroy enemy infantry formation from cover easily.

I regularly deploy my Delta's by Blackhawk behind enemy lines to cap supply vehicles and give me intel.
