Of course that study is probably bullshit, as are a lot of studies. Though that doesn't mean your country doesn't have a LOT of stupid people U mad? well when its another topic or discussion on how bad/stupid/greedy america is while constantly avoiding how worse off other countries are, why not be mad? Im pretty sure i can go into a european country and ask whats 2^3. And get retarded results. Plus im not really biting into how bad US education is. I mean in major cities a 4 year college degree is NOTHING. Want to work at McDonalds get a Masters or PhD. Not to mention people from all over the world come to our colleges. So there are a good chunk of intelligent people. I just think most of these surveys try to avoid people with a descent education or avoid asking people who arent on welfare.

That 1+1=2 is an axiom in mathematics. It's a system built upon axioms like these.
Saying that they are "accepted theory is not fully proven" is to put it mildly, batshit insane.

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.
I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Okay by your logic the sun sets and rises on the earth does that mean that the sun revolved around the earth? No thats just how you perceive it. Humans view life in a very limited scope, very very limited...I'm not a quantom mechanics expert but once we step into the domain of quantum mechanics 1+1=2 is no longer true for example a single beam of photons is shot through a filter to split it into 2 beams...this is a routine and normal experiment but when inspected closer the photons actually split into 3 separate beams. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=photons-meet-with-three-splitthere's a video somewhere in youtube explaining it but just because something is how you percieve it doesn't make it necessarily true lol sach i think you misunderstand the point from a scientific point and a logical stance a person should always know that nothing is ever 100% even if an entire institution/train of though is based upon it ect ect.

Sachaztan, both number of people asked and percentage are important. You can't interview 1000 people and then make an accurate assessment of a group of 300 million people based on the results of the 1k people. One thousand people from a group do not adequately represent that group if that group is 300 million large. You need a reasonable percentage of the group.

fact that reality is actually not the way we see it is nothing strange, since we only see small number of specter, god knows what else is out there that we dont see,not to mention other dimensions.

If you're interested in other dimensions I'd really recommend reading up on String theory it's extremely interesting. I'm not sure if it's been disproven or anything like that but I doubt it...but it's a fun read.

we are perceiving 4 dimensions, dunno how much they have proven by math, of dimensions to exist, around 20 or something if memory serves me right.

Econometrics begs to differ. It depends what exactly you're assessing, if your sample is random and varied enough to be an accurate representation of the sample and to what degree you want to be certain of your findings. But yes, saying that the USA is stoopid based entirely on watching a single video where 10 people get proven they're idiots is just flat out moronic - it has zero statistical significance.

I wont say that I'm especially smart... since I listend to computers investing advice. But still, you dont need to be smart to know a basic fact about americans, which is that the larger population is pretty stupid. And I do not mean you guys are stupid at all... You do not need to defend the retards of your country. All countries have morons, you just have bad luck getting more of them

And they are doing mighty fine job! Why arent people doing it about other country's?
Lol, because honestly, nobody cares about those other countries. Europe has 3 countries that even matter, the UK, Germany, and France. The rest isn't worth much and is not important on the world stage. Yea, lots of ignorance out there, sadly all across the world. You need only look at Germany shutting down it's Nuclear power plants because Japan failed to properly protect a 40 year old nuke plants diesel generators from a tsunami to see this. They are cleaner and safer than fossil fuel's but god forbid they use the terrifying, clean and efficient nuke plant. America will continue to lead the world in technology, because we absorb the best and the brightest as much as possible. The average person doesn't need to know anything about science to do their job, that's like saying that being well rounded and having a deep knowledge of art history is important. Yea, cool, you learned something, but it's primarily useless unless that is your field of work/study/research.

It's hard to disprove a theory that makes no testable predictions/has equations that can't even be solved yet.

yea,Germany with shutting down nuclear power plants is just FAIL unfortunately. The average person doesn't need to know anything about science to do their job That is true, but questions approximately how much of earth is covered with water or how long does it take to earth to circle around sun are not science, you learn facts like this in 1-4th grade in school.

This 100% Also masacree http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncertainty_principleIt's an accepted truth that has been the basis for many of the M theory and String theory extensions until that is disproved then it continues to be a variable truth. Also we're getting close to solving those equations with Quantum computers....They're so sexy.

It's not a prediction that string theory makes.
