Wanna have some real OP?

Infiltrator with Black Widow/Javelin/Basic Heavy sniper rifle (In the early game)
Cloak on full (-200% time) cooldown with all the sniper rifle buffs that the infiltrator and cloak tree's give you and yay!

Enjoy 300% (ish) bonus damage on your headshots, not that you'll need it as you can instakil any basic and even the centurion level guys when maxed out with the stronger snipers, with cloak cooldown being faster than the reload on your rifle  Cheesy

Big problem with ME3 was that it did not throw enough biotics at you. Banshees were intimidating at certain points (like when defending the rocket truck) when they were supported by other mobs. They would 1-hit you in melee for instance.

And they fucked over infiltrators a bit... If you are the last guy alive then they will shoot you even if you are cloaked, making cloak completly useless solo, well, the 300% damage headshot buff still works.

There was also just ONE heavy melee attack animation. I think sheps grunt was the same each time as well. Kinda bad

Actually, in multi each race has different heavy and normal melee animations, they have different speeds and strenths...
But yeah, strange there were more in multi, heh

If you cloak right in front of the AI, they'll just fire in the general direction they last saw you, I've cloaked and ran behind someone and they kept firing where I was, even closing in and attempting to bash me, it was pretty hilarious.

Infiltrator is pretty rape sauce though, but there are strengths about every race and class.

Like I didn't realize how fun Adepts can be and now i'm pretty boss at them, while I'm not so good with the Sentinel, mainly because my freakin Turian is too boss to roll/dodge (unless i was bugged) I did infiltrator in the demo but i got bored with it, Adept and Vanguard are 2 of the most fun, Soldier is as well with room clearing nades.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

No, if you are the last survivor they will activly target and chase you down, making stealth useless if you are the last person alive from what I've seen...

And room clearing nades? Try a salarian, he throws 3 of them at once  Cheesy

its not ignorant

masseffect is a (kind of RPG) game where u have 1000 of dialog decisions but they effect absolutely nothing

it was the most boring and transparent game i ever played

what a waste of time - zero gameplay zero decisions with consequences just a piece of shit game

ps: i fucking love RPGs like baldurs gate, icewind dale, neverwinter nights and even dragon age but mass effect was a fucking piece of crap game unbelieveable they wanted money for this shit

How the fuck does one know from only an hour or two of gameplay if actions have consequences or not? Not entierly untrie aside from a few major examples, but still.

As far as consequences for actions go... Alpha Protocol  Cheesy

As I stated in a different thread, mass effect 3 just seems like EA and Bio trying to make us see the importance of self sacrifice for the greater good, sorta preparing the American and Western countries for a decrease in living standards Tongue

I mean, the first 2 had epic "rewarding" and "fulfilling" endings in the sense you feel that you got a gratification experience for the "effort" you put into the game play. But this third one just feels like "le petite mort" after a quite cry wank in a dark room, where the only comforts are cognac and a smoke.

to be honest...is it possible they just had no idea where they were going? How many 3rds of a trilogy seemed like they were lost.

the issue was this

Me 1 storyboard <               >
me 2 storyboard <               >
me 3 storyboard <      >

that was the issue, they had more of me1 and me2 planned in advance than me3 and it shows. i think in an interview they said they had abotu 20% of it down and the rest was based on the previous 2 games, that's not good...

I also think a lot of complaints from the ME community led to this, while the combat is absolutely epic, the best of the 3, there's some story elements that were downright cheap, the scanning is kinda meh, they just combined me1 and me2 together.

I am curious though what kind of DLC will come, i mean it's the end of sheps story...what else is there to tell? IN Me2 kasumi and the shadow broker story were awesome but you can't add something like that to me3 unless you're adding dlc expecting the player to replay it.

Maybe they will add a secondary ending, which would be kind of neat, and frustrating to alot of people.

I'm glad they cut scanning down, most pointless thing in the game.

The story was great if you took your time listening to people and interacting.

The end was so much better than having another "Shepard fights a boss mob and everyone is happy". More games need to end with tragedy for the main character.

I'm not even sure most people who completed the game disliked the ending, just a handful that are overly initially attached to the character who would rather he emerge triumphant for another 10 games.

I'm mostly curious about how they intend to continue the IP.
