The Comet aint a heavy. It can't take the beating and dish it out at the same time like one, if you engage heavy armour it's hit and fade or fire at range with CCT and stay back.

Yeah the Comet has cromwell armor?. so its sees a panther and just treads off into oblivion.

The Comet can actually fight a Panther pretty well. Been on both ends of that fight and it's the only thing besides a very well covered Firefly or HVAP M10/M18's that my Panther worries about as far as armored targets go.

Comet definitely not a heavy tank, but it can fight panthers well. I should know I ran superOpowerful build with them. vet 3 ablative vet 3 cct buffed comet used to eat infantry and tanks like they were nothing. I was probably the guy who brought the imbalance to their attention by raping skaffa's infantry.

Then they nerfed the AI

me + someone alse(myst?) used to spam first 105 nebels in groups of 4-5,then they would eat everything...then it was changed,now you seldomly see one on field :p

Comet has Sherman armour which is much better than Cromwell armour, but it still isn't desirable for fighting the big gristly evil Axis heavies of doom.
