It's a doctrine unlock that is inferior to the Staghound (better AV weapon), while the Stag is open to ALL Brits. Don't be picking on the T17 even more than it is now.

It was evidently just a case of a sore loss. T17's are the farthest thing from cheap or imbalanced, I'd even call them somewhat underpowered for their cost in terms of a doctrine unlock and whatnot. It looks more klike you're mad that your dual defensive stacking with your friend didn't turn out the way you wanted it to.

I wasn't talking rate of fire, I was talking penetration. The Staghound is essentially a T17 that CAN penetrate and is NOT a doctrine unlock, while the T17 is a doctrine unlock that is useless against vehicles. To complain about the T17 and not make any mention of the Staghound and say that the generally underperforming one is more OP is a silly argument. |

No i dont think its cheap conisdering you can purchase a staghound and accomplish much if not more then the average T17. Fact remain that with HVAP the T17 cant penetrate anything stronger then fog.

Guys we've been over this. T17 has always been a awkward vehicle in the line of OP and UP because of its price. Just because someone found a perfect metagame for it doesn't make it all that OP.

The T17 is perfectly balanced. It rapes infantry and not much else and gets utterly destroyed by any at out there. Using hit and run tactics it can really rack up the kills, but you should be able to shut it down with some effort.

Hmm, but to you everything is balanced amiright?. Marders in lockdown on road dont seem to have a hard time hitting it. althought more often then not i see them run away with a sliver of rage health. It just depends if your opponent is a niny and goes and caps without a schrek nearby. |

I do think most things in this game are balanced. If t17's are raping you change your tactics. And if you know your opponent is tearing around with LV's why the fuck are you capping without at support. |

^ Basically. If you see a lot of people saying something is OP, then maybe it's OP but if it's you and a coupl eother people, then obviously there's a tactic that you are employing that doesn't work.
example. I had a wehr company that did real poor versus infantry spam, and i knew this so i either retreated in the face of infantry spam or if i knew for sure i'd be going agaisnt someone with infantry spam I'd make sure i played with someone who knew how to counter such tactics.
Lastly...if you get beat by a certain thing once, kudos to the enemy but if it keeps on kicking your ass...you need to think if you're doing something wrong.
