Why?

This sucks. Tanks can repair but the flak can't. With allied support spam it already dies fast unless you support spam back.

I'm ditchin my defensive company because of this. 225 fuel for a stationary uber ATG is expensive, but that was fine before. You get artied to hell and can't recover because of no repair. I guess it's not good enough for the current meta anymore.

Guess I'm just going to level a SE coy now

Just wondering what brought this change about?

Dont cry QQ because someone beat your defensive lolstack. 88s need to be supported by support weapons. Do you know why people support spam? Because its the unit combination that beats your particular "nothin but 88s and grens, bitches" company. Adapt and win, dont complain when your omnipotent cannon of doom gets wiped off the map by support weapons--that's just good play.

Volks first of all you suck, already mopped the floor with you several times. It's funny that you act like I don't know how to play defensive Lol.

Second, there really isn't anything you can do with a flak if they have 2+ howitzers on the field, which is ALWAYS on 3v3 or 4v4, sometimes even on 2v2. The flak doesn't have the ability to recooperate from the damage, it can't run away like you can with your other units, you can't support it against artillery.

The 25 pounder takes very little damage from the flak's arty ability, I nailed one 3 times on the spot with it being supervised by my officer, took down about 20% health. (artillery experts my ass lol). So counter-battery is out of the question.

Of course the 25 pounder recrew glitch is retarded and everyone abuses it. It's been around for god knows how long and it still hasn't been fixed. I'm not saying to bring the flak on par with that spartan obviously. You really think medkits are comparable to that broken shit? lol. I'm asking why did people feel the need to remove flak healing. It took a while and was the only way to keep your flak on board for longer.

The flak costs 225 fuel vs 25 pounder 120 fuel.

Medic bunker doesn't heal flak idiot. Lol. Plus I don't like them. I can get all the medkits I need for the price of one.

You allies can keep your arty superiority. I just want to be able to repair my flak one way or another.

I think the reasoning is behind a more "common sense rule" as in, how do medical kits repair a flak? But that guess is probably the least cause of the change considering the many other common sense flaws scattered about in this game.


You could always bring up the idea of maybe getting light repair kits for flake or something.

repair kits lets say 25-30 Mu would be a good thing for 88s, and pretty balanced if you ask cause while repairing you would have a big unoperable gun in the frontline which could be raped by atgs in a few seconds.

I dont think they can actually make it repair itself.. I mean what would happen if you decrewed it, would that be 0 pop repairing itself while others stuff fought. Probably would.

The discussion of whether or not med bunker should heal item health is more interesting, if the triage does it (and im 99% sure it heals the 57mm item health)
