Steam Sale for the pay for version. Apparently there is a F2P version that does not allow you to get past level 1 ships. Level 2 and up just provides better loot chances and higher end items, but the difference, while enough to win a fair fight, is not massive enough to let you faceroll a couple people at once.

i usually avoid most of those indie PC arcade games. sooo many tower defense clones. But this looks nice.

Too many things wrong with that sentence.

Overwrite MS VS 2008?  No, probably just installing the redist.
DirectX?  No, probably just updating with the newer runtime dlls (like DirectX is famous for - ever wondered why every new game you install installs DX AGAIN?).

As for the site being down - well, I havent downloaded it yet - but yeah, sites down, but you can register and download the client still.

And I am actually surprised you approve of this, especially it took me almost year to finetune VS2008 on my machine so all launchers for various games (I had problems with EIR launcher too) could coexist. and now some random app wants them clean fresh again,nope - I declined and still would be able to launch the game to get dissapointed lol.

Their site is down due to a large influx of traffic from the steam sale and some major publicity. It's a great MOBA game with a lot of depth.

As fas installing new redist and directx, if you have to edit yours to keep all your shit running something is wrong or you are running Linux, which is your own fault. Not the best platform for...most anything, though very useful for repairing Windows.

Been playing a lot of this, it mixes naval tactics with a space MOBA. Much more strategic depth to the movement and planning than HON or LoL and by extension DOTA2.

If you were proficient you wouldn't have so many problems. As for F2P, I don't know, didn't look for myself. Was told there is a F2P version out. I just paid the $7 and called it a day. Good game, sadly, small indie developer was not counting on this much traffic and it borked their servers. Patch incoming today and hopefully some server upgrades.

i am not native english speaker or you cant read me: i had zero problems, i declined all the bullshit their installer wanted. I was able to successfully launch the game even without it. i have problems with slack devs doing this.


...only to find out it is  NOT F2P.


So that is why i recommend to avoid, the first post was misleading - this not f2p imho anymore.

btw, i know 7 usd is not problem for you, however for me it is food for 3 days. why i would want to throw away this money if this game will be abandoned in 2-3 monts to better MOBA for free such as DOTA2 etc.?

They fixed the server issue and the memory leak! Victory!

Also, Dreadnought is OP when full upgraded....

I like it more than the regular MOBA games, more tactics in movement and build.

Plus spaceships.

I've been running a Dreadnought as I said earlier and it's lots of fun. Slow, cumbersome, but so much range and damage.

I'd probably run a support ship, or a Dreadnaught.

Hopefully they get the servers fixed, dont think they anticipated this much growth.

The dev team is actually smaller than EIRRs!
