The crafting system is the most broken thing in the game.

It takes millions to craft end game gear

It takes 1.6 million Chipped gems to craft the final gem.

You can only find up to Tier 8 of gems from drops(Flawless Square) and the tiers go to 14(Radiant Star)

It takes 739 Flawless Square gems to craft a single Radiant star and costs you like 15 million in gold and pages/Tomes/shit.

The blacksmith is even worse as he will never craft anything of equal value to a Dropped rare item

I'm going to pick out one part. You cleared Inferno already with your Monk? Without relying on others to carry you? Because as far as I know, that's the hard setting.

D2 had no hard setting available....at all.

I think D3 should be harder. Hell should be about 50% of Inferno.

I've finished the game on normal and I'm in Act 2 now, seriously contemplating whether it's worth wasting my time going over and doing the exact same quests and everything again for a game that will barely be a challenge for at least another 10-12 hours.

Now I want to go back and play The Witcher 2 on high difficulty again...

That'd drive me crazy Tongue.

Inferno is worth it, you need to be 60 though.

I love Inferno, so much fun. Soooo hard.

Inferno isn't worth it. Drops aren't significantly better for the first few acts, Act 1 Inferno generally drops lvl 55 gear with like 400+- DPS when by then you will hopefully already have an item that deals 800+ (Bought on the auction house, since you wouldn't have actually been able to find one of them in Hell). Act 2 is a HUGE difference with Act 1. Act 1 is do-able, but Act 2 is a brick wall by comparison. (You go from being able to handle most except a few champion packs to being able to hand only a few monsters and nothing else) I have 40k hp, 13k damage, 6k armour, 20 procent block chance, like 40 procent dodge (Not as important as AMPM claims, it's actually kind of broken since it doesn't help vs AoE effects like molten.frozen and all that champion pack bullshit i.e the BIGGEST source of damage), 250 resists and I still end up dying in no time unless I engage, use all skills, then back of and kite until my skills are off cooldown. SUPER BORING gameplay.
Not to mention ranged chars have a HUGE advantage.

Watch this video, it hits the nail on the head

It's no challenge, it's not fun. it's just super retarded and frustrating to play. I pretty much gave up playing my monk in Act 2, CBA goldfarming for weeks on end to buy a marginally better item that will then make my marginally better at progressing some shitty difficulty setting with little to no satisfaction. I certainly won't put up with dying 10+ times just to kill some special mob, and I'm not going to just run past them just so I can boast I've ''beaten'' act 2.

Oh and I have a defensive build, obviously. You'd be stupid to try and to tackle inferno without a defensive build (you're pretty much forced to go with one even, there goes that so called 'build variety' in D3, the endgame is exactly the same as in D2 with 1-2 cookie-cutters for all classes), the majory of my skills are defensive/crowd control. Doesn't mean jack shit since after I cycle through them I still have to break-off and kite until cooldowns are done.

But hey, to each his own I guess, if you have fun playing this ridiculous monstrosity that they call 'endgame difficulty', good for you.

Ewww, if your monk has those stats...ewww....

I'm rolling at 40K HP, 300+ resists, 30k DPS, 15% dodge and none of that shield pansy nonsense. Only issues are the damned bee's and some elite packs. Nearly 1 shot most things.

It's much harder to get 30k dmg as a monk FYI, monk is probably the most impossible class to get through inferno with. I have an 800 dps weapon, can't really get any higher unless I pay millions on the AH. I have some really solid gear, only way to get any better is to pay millions on the AH for that as well. No thanks.

Oh and most monks have a shield in inferno, it's almost obligatory. (As is going with an almost full defensive build, not to mention that dodge stats which the monk is entirely reliant upon are more or less pointless ) GG don't roll monk for inferno I guess.
