Commentary like this is much more interesting to watch than most of the stuff that has been done before, though you did slip sometimes and start describing what was happening. Still the best kind of cast for players who already know EIRR. Really awesome!

One thing I thought about which reduced the enjoyability was that I knew that it was the previous version of the super OP acpr for marders, that thing easily took out 2 tanks in smoke without a sweat, penetrating and hitting with almost every shot. I guess you could also say that its hard to talk about strategy for AB company without buffs, but you managed to focus on the smoke and the infantry usage. Most companies usually employ strategies dominated by the specifics of their doctrine choices.

Wonderful strategy cast, I definately liked the point of difference - being about strategies in play / being used rather than about the game and results like usual.

Thanks for making it Wink

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Not sure. The game was played november 2011 and the big APCR nerf was in July from what I can see from the patchnotes. I might be wrong.

- APCR marder III buffs from 25% dmg and 35% pen to 15% dmg and 25% pen.

At the beginning I thought that this gonna be a quiet/calm casts, but as you started to introduce the players and explained the start in call-ins and following tactics with them, you definetly got this shit rolling.

Great casts, I just listen to the voice because I was doing some other stuff but I think I could follow you. The short breaks gave enough time to rethink and give a good point-of-view from many perpectives.

Well done Sir.

Really good job indeed.

Only bad thing I can point out is sometimes you seemed like you wanted to say something, but couldn't find the right words. This is where a co-hoster might have helped.

Hopefully other shoutcasters will use this as an example.

Actually there is one other thing I'd like to point out.

I noticed every time you talked about the strategy it was just what you think is the best strategy in this situation? Then you unpaused the game and looked if they followed your best strategy.
This sort of works, but it does distance the players who were in the game from the shoutcast itself. And it might make the shoutcaster seem ignorant or something.
Perhaps talk more about what the players themselves are thinking and less about what you self think is the best strat. Both ways come at a cost tho. Its best to find the correct balance.

Even if critique is presented I think its important to note that for it's audience (people who already know eirr) this is probably the best shoutcast made for just that.

Amazing how the simplest of things can get missed so easily. I know I suck for the most part, and just that simple advice of "use the weak or cheap units o scout" is really going to help.

I don't use expensive units to scout per say, but I usually just retreat one man squads thinking they are useless except to hold a sector from capping.

I would love to see you do more like this one. I will be adding it to the getting started menu.

Well i am just happy you never said "That unit/side it completely undefended so he can easily roll over it", hate it when shoucasters say that for they may know that due to lack of FOW but the players dont.

Want to bash the head of any shoutcaster that says that into a brick wall for its just so ignorant and stupid to say that.
