Hey Smokaz, thanks again for your wonderful input.
Ill be releasing as soon as I find a stupid bug thats been plaguing the warmap since alpha.
It *seems* to be to do with people launching WITHOUT using the launch button (instead, using a shortcut) - but I need more testing to find it. (Or possibly with people 'forcing out' before a game finishes.)
Any information about this bug would be appreciated, as it is the only thing holding up release.

A short story to the bug: (Are we talking about the same EIRMod - Maybe I just missunderstand you!)
Once a time I had a game and forgot to press launch game and just used my shortcut. After all player joined the game and the game has finaly loaded up it itstantly crashes with a synchronization error for all players. It works fine after I quit vCoH and pressed the launch button once.
I have not programmed the EIR launcher and I can't explain why, but I think there is some background action when you press the "launch" button. (Maybe the creation of a battle relevant file so that CoH crashes when you forget to press launch because all the players have not the same file?)

Pressing launch downloads the battlefile, of course the game will crash if you haven't pressed the Launch button

And where is the problem to switch this "download battlefile" process which is started with the event of pressing the "launch button", into a automatically generated event when all players are RTL so that it makes no difference to start CoH:EIR with the "launch button" or via a shortcut?  P.S: I don't want to look like a Mr."Know-it-all" - I really want to help! *I'm german and probably my word selection and/or writing stil make me look like a dislikeable person O:* |

Yeah using only the shortcut in normal EiR results in you not having the battlefile. Is the bug something else? |

lmao, you do NOT have to worry about looking like a KnowItAll.
If I would be EIRMod I would probably somethink like "Who the fuck is this dude - Haven't programmed the EIR launcher and try to give me tips to fix a bug". This is the part where I would see the Mr. "FaultFinder" or "KnowItAll" in a bad meaning. |

hey, its the same with an incorrect coh / launcher name. We have to live with it and it works. So why change it for some stupid dumbasses who cant press launch for some reason? |

No, this is different. And probably related to not having the battle file, or some other conflict.
