As the title says.

A Tier 2 that allows M8s, T17s and Quads to cap. This thing is overpowered no matter how much you look at it. Especially if it is a Tier 2.

The combination of things you can do with it is completely noteable and this ability makes certain units Overpowered and outperform everything else.

Let's take an example.

Double T3s which gives M8s and T17s Ability to move and shoot at rather effective pace and on top of this M8 can lay mines and even more on top of it that you can CAP with these things as well. Cap and hold territory.

The ability makes certain combinations too powerful and therefore should be moved to a T4 which would bring balance to the said unit.

My recommendation is to move it to Bottom T4 which benefits Light vehicles quite a lot.

In its Current Form running a M8/T17 company supported by pershings makes a rather difficult force to deal with. M8s that can cap, slaughter infantry and otherwise zoom around the map to demolish things. They can escape any harm and even repair at the same time. I do hope that Balance team takes a look at this.

The important thing you should know is that the vehicle which have the cap abilitiy do it really slow, you can't compare it with the cap speed of a normal
infantry squad. The second one, it's 8 Pop and you should be able to counter a M8 with it's same population. Even if you do it with 10 Pop you will probably have two units which can cap faster and are able to counter the M8 and any other light vehicle.

M3 Ht can only cap if it has inf inside

Ahng.

What would you send against a capping M8 with 8 pop? A upgun puma? You can prevent the back cap and capping alltogether but not permanently.

I'd say any form of capping vehicles is wrong and promotes the use of armor even more. Capping is the one thing that inf should be king of not vehicles.

A StuG costs 8Pop and hardcounters any light vehicle and you can still fight against a M4 Sherman if you don't mess up your micro. For 10Pop you could
call a Volksgrenadier with a Panzerfausts and a Pak.

Or the good old one-man-left-squad which prevents the M8 to cap the sector... .

A volkssquad with faust and pak stops a lv? ....lul

+1 to dnice. plus a stug costs way more than a lv, but it cant cap.

funny there's never been any complaints about this in the past.

the quad and m3 cap so slow sometimes I don't even think it's working!

I could see removing M3 capping ability, that would be fair. But if you move the ability to cap to a T4, it better have some other things that make it worthy of a T4, because I doubt anyone would take it, unless it sped up the cap time maybe.

Seems I've never lost a game, or or something of that nature simply because someone had capping vehicles.

But I honestly don't see any good posts defending this, but I also don't really see anything making it seem too OP either.

So what about scout cars?. its like the direct counter to scout car spam. i dont see anything wrong with it they have a nice pool lv capped. so you can bring 6-8 or smething like that nothing a Infatry ht with schreks cant handle or a panther or upgunned pumas.

Well there is your problem if your using t17's to fight tanks no wonder your shitting bricks.

it isnt hard to counter, its no deffirent then me using a bren carrier and puting 1 sapper in and capping -_-.
