Every time I try to update the launcher, it gets stuck on a file and won't continue any further than that. I installed COH through steam, this could be a problem with my work computer but I'm not sure as I can install everything else just fine.

Running windows 7 64 bit.

Suggestions?

I remember that other players have had very similar problems. Ask a dev or search the Tech Support forum for answers.

One quick troubleshoot is to make sure you run EVERYTHING associated with the launcher in administrator. As well, make sure you have all the files in the correct place in the steam folder associated with coh

everything should be in order; I've freshly installed EIR 3 times this week on different machines. Just this one machine won't install. The wierd thing is, if I quit and reload the auto updater it will go a little further. Basically, I'd have to sit there for an hour in order to get it to patch all the way through.

Its getting suck on maps for some reason...

Have someone transfer the maps independently. The Updater should skip over them

Do you have tried to delete the file which cause the "freeze" at the updater?

Is that machine running AVAST?

TIP: If your EIRRLauncher seems to freeze very often while for example retrieving company this is most likely caused by your AVAST antivirus web shield. If you have AVAST Antivirus open it, go to the real-time shields menu and disable the web shield before you start the EIRRLauncher.
