Well the THQ community representative at the official forums assured everyone that the bonuses would all be purely cosmetic, so that's somewhat of a relief.
Well that's a lie in itself, as "XP bonus" is not cosmetic, it's a game altering effect. I am 99% sure that is something you can buy with "Premium cash", unless CoH2 plans to be the first game to do the opposite.

As I said before, it's not something I have a problem with, but it is a time saving buy and not a cosmetic one.

You do realize they most likely mean the EXP received for leaving up your main account, assuming vermillion's source speaks the truth, which unlocks cosmetic bonuses in DoWII.

So you believe they'll throw away the whole concept of hero units and company progression from CoHO? In that case, UNIT BOOST makes zero sense, in fact, I severely doubt "Unit boost" could be cosmetic.

If this was really the case, I doubt they would even list unit boost as a preorder bonus, and just leave it at currency/skins.

In  a relic interview yesterday, they actually mentioned this mod as the influence behind making coh2 a persistant game.

With "unit boost" they get a indirect buff like your hero units have a higher received experience or similiar. I'm pretty sure it's not
a direct buff to the unit itself. (damage/hp boost whatever)

They expect us to pre-order the game, yet they haven't show a single trailer?

Yeah weird timing for preorder, unless they need the money to keep on with the devlopment. Anyway, i won't spend money on the game before not having seen it and played it.

They already said that the pre-order stuff is either cosmetic or singleplayer stuff.

Beta access sounds awesome. I hope the beta is before 2013.
