So instead of derailing another thread, I'd like you to explain the crappy and the good, given yer new position I think this is a perfectly reasonable request. So what constitutes a "Campy" map? Why are almost all maps aside from the skaffamaps so bad in your opinion? (Given how often I've seen you blame a loss at the map, way more than anyone else I can think of). I don't think all maps should play out the same and I certainly don't believe all company builds should fare equally well on all maps. I have the impression that's what you think given if it's not played like forest or neuville, it's a bad map.

So go ahead, after all, you must have some solid logic behind this no?

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Then I suggest you ask your questions without the negative insinuations you are making.....

The SDT would not put anyone in a Dev position if they felt their decisions would be biased.

Keep the personal shit out of it please.

It's a fair question. Just because a map does not fit the way the Map Lead likes to play does no mean it should not be included.

You're right Tank, the SDT wouldn't intentionally put somebody in a Dev position if they felt their decisions would be biased.

However, we are human, and mistakes happen. Having a person unfit for the role take up said position has happened before in the SDT.

As poorly as he worded it Niko has put forward a legitimate question, a question that I would like to see answered. If this guy's gonna be setting down what maps will be available to us to play with then I'd like to know why he's considered competent.

When a person takes up a position for coding, all you need to see is that they are willing to work and can code to a level - The community doesn't even need to see that. Taking up a position for map lead? It's much more subjective and what we receive will, to a degree, be based upon said person's level of subjectivity.

The code and the work that goes into the mod itself we understandably have little say on (Yip, we can provide input which is taken into account so long as it aint silly) but when it comes to maps, that's the community's turf so to speak. It'd be good to know what we are dealing with when it comes to people's work being accepted or declined.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

It's a fair question. Just because a map does not fit the way the Map Lead likes to play does no mean it should not be included.

And at no point in time has the Map lead removed a map or stopped one from being implemented for that reason.

How about you guys wait and see how maps are handled before you start to criticize. We do not not need the negative speculation.

I agree with the question, just not the way he presented it, which is the issue that me and tank had, it came off snappy and dripping with sarcasm.
