I made another thread you can ask that in, this one was in the wrong section...
But yes, unless I was really mistaken, both pioneers and ruskie sappers were 4 man each, possibly becasue recrewing an abandoned stug 3 took 3 men so you wont waste the squad? Anyway, might be better to use the other squad for that.
It might have been 3... but pretty sure it was 4, engineer squads seem to be more expensive but more combat capable judging by the russian one, but it was hard to tell with only 2 and a half games vs the AI.
