I want to review each of these maps to see why they are not getting played. I would like people who ACTUALLY PLAYED THE MAP to give their input on what they liked and disliked about the map. What could be done to improve the map.

The the owner of the map will have to the option to make the suggested changes or allow someone else to make the changes for them. If the changes are just too overwhelming and not worth the efforts, we will just remove the map.

Show Some respect:


People put a lot of work into these maps. Comments like "it sucks" will not be tolerated. Post useful, helpful comments or just don't post.
We need input from people who actually want to help and better the playing environment.

If you can't play nice, just don't post please.

If you need a screen shot of the map to show notes etc, let me know and I will unpack it and post the shot.

For me their is to much going on in this map. To much uneven terrain causing Light tanks and the such to get slowed. Also due to have a poorer PC it makes it hard to run with all the objects in the map.

The north east spawn is funky. Visually it seems to be in an ok spot but there's 2 spawn locations there, one is down a hill road and it makes movement a bitch. The other one dumps right into the enemy in most cases during combat. It gets kinda messy when the enemy pushes and your cut off from the other team mates.

This usually results in a 1v1 with a opponent  struggling over this section. This section has alot of Bumps and hills along with craters and just tree branches. This part of the map is right next to the upper spawn located at the right corner road. This usually gives the upper team a head start.


Rarely do i see this area used because it is a direct road from one spawn to the other as flanking is able to be done it is extremely risky because a team can easily react and chase resulting in a cut off with mines or atg as one atg in this sector placed can cut flanking easily.


Serves no pourpose

Alot of hedges but none really provide cover from artillery shots and the such and most can be knocked down

Overall  schjindel is better for this type of gameplay.

It's a decent enough map, it was played for quite a bit when it was first released, though it could probably use a little more cover and a better area to fight over rather than the more or less empty field it currently offers.

It still looks like the campaign map far too much, and does not suit EIR gameplay.

some of the asthetics could do with a reshuffle/removal like the "pretty" rail bridge or the "88" forest off to the right.

As for the road its always a risk that their are mines on a road, its an instincive place to put them.
As the unit AI generally auto targets roads for movement.

And the spawns dont feel right for the flow of the battle, the northside inparticular having to contend with narrow roads and a maze of pathing obsticals.

Also those central hedges could do with a bit more of a tactical layout.
