Snow, Freezing weather, stale bread with cold coffee. The troops sniffle and cough, sitting and waiting on the western front.

In the distance, they suddenly hear the allied advance, tanks upon tanks come crushing out of the forests, with the rangers leading the way.

"schneller schneller, sind die Amerikaner kommen", the brave remaining panzerbataillon 155th Reserve Panzer Division, Whermacht 14th Landwehr Division, supported by 716th
Volksgrenadier Division all of them band together as the U.S. come advancing towards one of there last defensive positions.

The U.S. 16th and 20th  Armored Division supported by the unyielding charge of 65th Infantry Division, charge, and in the aftermath, when the smoke clears the town of Egletons is a strew with the bodies of brothers in arms. The wrecks of the german tanks, and allied armor sitting cooking slowly in the winter night.

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons. Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.
