It's just a ideal thing. It completly neglectes important thing like thermal loses when the BB went through the barrel (friction work) or the
air-resistance and this equation considers a perfect isothermic expanse of the gas.

Since you don't know the gas volume difference per discharge you can't calculate a discret value of the pressure-volume work and without
this you can't estimate the kinect energy of a BB to calculate a appraised value of the maximum velocity of a BB. (When you could measure the
volume difference of the ejected propellant gas when you pull the trigger it would be possible to calculate real values.

Acctually bb weight is something very important to snipers and since Sach was our game designated sniper he learned a lot about how and why bullet weight was important specially for more powerful guns such as sniper rifles and/or gas driven weapons^^
