I heard somewhere that the first phase of beta is exclusive for those who preordered it and will be accepting keys/alpha testers on the second phase.

I'm in the same situation Unknown. Looks like Alpha testers will be allowed on the second wave (21st April) if at all. They are trying to get Alpha testers in then, but they also said, that it is not for sure...
Where did you get that info from Tig?

I am really confused why the russian faction isnt called "mortars".
I won a game against some random guys just because i kept recrewing their mortars and killing the vehicles and decrewing their tanks with them.

While I am enjoying my trip and wouldn't trade it for anything. I do wish I could play the beta. I doubt it will be running by the time I get home so I'll have to either catch a later one or play it on release.
