Installing EIRR on Steam COH

Below is a quick tutorial on how to install your Europe in Ruins launcher to work with the Steam version of COH.

If you already have EIRR installed, below is a quick and dirty version of how to transfer you autoupdater and files over to the steam folder.

1. you need instal new steam version of coh

2. than you can reinstal all eirr in this directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch

3. if you cba reinstall all EIR:R you can just copy those files http://coh.hsk-hosting.de/screenshots/nsv.png from your old COH directory C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes into new1 you got after installing new steam version C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch

4. than run EIR:R launcher from here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch by opening AutoUpdater icon

5. than go to steam --> settings ---> friends, in top lef corner you will see profile name next to avatar, type ya name you have in EIR:R and ya ready to play

Things to remember:

-Your Europe in Ruins launcher name must be registered on the website to your fourm name.

-Your company names inside the EIRR launcher must match your Steam display name. It is case sensitive. If you don't do this part, than you will not be able to use your company in game.

After I have copied all those files and pasted them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch

Can I delete the original ones from C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes to save memory space?

Can I delete the original ones from C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes to save memory space?

You should be able to do that and not have any problems. It is a separate game at this point.
