lol the damage is what makes it OP not the splash?

It still wipes out any non vehicle unit in one shot with 100% accuracy for 60mu, along with any neighboring units too with totally redundant successive shells. It's practically unchanged except for slight price increase.

I'm not surprised. Axis have always been the black sheep since EiR:R came into action!

Wait what? Airburst gets cut in half and receives a price increase, while the Stuka Halftrack just got a price increase and keeps it retarded stats?

Two Stuka's currently cost more than a Skirted Panther.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

It seems that the mod tempts to go nuts lately.

The cost of a unit doesn't reflect how effective a unit can be used on the battlefield or how much damage (ressourcewise) it
can cause to an opponents company. I haven't played a lot in the last few days, but want I can easily say is that the comparison with
two Stukas and a skirted Panther is not appropriate.

First of all the both of them are completly different unit categories (self propelled rocket artillery and heavy armoured tank) which makes it
impossible to compare these two units with their costs. Secondly the ability to destroy/damage units of two stuka halftracks is much higher
compared to the panther. It's not fair from me that I'm always refer to the game I have played on Neuen against you, but man the Panthers
I have faced with Sharpshooter we're a completle joke when you look at the Stuka Halftrack.

Airburst does deal a lot of damage to tanks and vehicles.

The issue with the stuka is when you can have two of them on the field at the same time, something you can't do with other artillery pieces due to price and pop restraints, hence why the price and pop was increased.

Something called a sniper, you should try it once or twice. Also get an m8 or a Stuart to suicide to kill the Stuka ht's

You want to compare a 8 pop stuka costing 380mp 255fu on a weakling halftrack platform that has to get fairly close to fire, and that has huge scatter. For substantially less than that you can get an m10 to flank around and attempt to rape it (300mp 220fu)

to a 4 pop 370mp 120mu AB mortar that can kill an atg crew and gun with a single shell and second shell respectively with 100% accuracy (causing 380mp 150mu damage to your opponent's company in one click) pack up and gtfo before you can even land a single shell on it (in the hands of a capable player. you can see mortar shell inc in the FoW.) I've thrown a bundle nade on an AB mortar from stealthed storms and the player was able to fire up and get the mortar out without having it lose any men, or occasionally just 1, shows its survivability.

The 4pop allows it to be a minimum burden on your company and act like a short range howitzer, with airborne armour, fire up, huge damage, 100% accuracy, on 1min cd, very little warning (next to that of a firing howitzer), and several doctrinal buffs. The fact that it can easily destroy flaks and vehicles is just an added derp bonus.

Sure it does Pony, by the way, go read the patch notes again.

proper target tables have been implemented (strong vs soft targets, weaker vs vehicles/garrison cover)

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons. Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

... How?

I mean, it has the damage modifier vs all armoured targets set to next to nothing, it does... It's an insignificant amount of damage. Even with the Stuart armour type being left slightly higher than intended, all a single mortar AB shell would do to a PzII is 12.5 damage.

What I just don't understand is why does it fire more than 1 shell? I mean, the MHT does not fire multiple incendiary shells does it?

Good point, MHT should fire 3 shells.
