Also Marine, when EIR first came out we had Vent, FL swapped it to TS.

Lmao, one's seafood, the other is fast food loaded with grease, what's your point?  A better analogy would be that a flank steak is cheaper than filet mignon as teamspeak is cheaper than ventrilo. 

Also, I've played warhammer online, and it is fail. It's like world of warcraft, only with the warhammer universe inserted into it. AOC for the win.

On the issue of voice quality, a good vent server with proper codecs wins EVERY time over teamspeak. You'll see the difference, nearly all communication is far less garbled.

Well...Skunk the main reason I want WO is because its PVP based, its from the makers of Dark Age of Camelot which had a very nice PvP system in it.  The PVP in WOW is fail, its carebearish.  WO shouldnt be that bad because I know alot of what Mythic learned from DAoC will transfer to WO and they will make improvements upon it.

Ive just never had a good time with Vent..TS3 ftw.

I have no issue with people thinking TS is better than Vent. For some people the interface is better, fine. However, please stop trying to promote TS3. It hasn't been released, nor is a release date set. Its a totally different program than TS2, so you're promoting it based ONLY on its name.

not its name...the program, IMO Vent sucks and TS is better.  I am not saying we need to stay with TS just because I think its better.  I think we should staty with TS because its economically better to do so at this point.

I just purchased a Ventrilo server, it was $9 a month, unlimited bandwidth, no codec restrictions for $9 / month ($1 less than what I'm paying now).

The current TS server will be active for another month, then we'll switch to the ventrilo one.

While I understand TS may be more user friendly, ventrilo offers much more functionality.  As always, we can re-evaluate the needs of our community and server on financial basis, but finding ventrilo for $1 cheaper than I'm paying for TeamSpeak is definitely a steal.

In TS as CA (channeladmin) i can delet EVRY channel if, password em, create new ones, kick people, but
I CANT:     Move people (!), Send Text Message to all

If you are SA you can chance those settings in the option´s. Maybe wanna switch a few of those "power´s" out.
