good evening,

one thing came up to my mind while reading the latest patch.
The calli is nice and now with 10 pop expensive like every arty. But my fear is that we see the calli only when somebody gets dual racks. What i want to say is that each t4 should somehow buff the unlocked units. To increase the variation on the battlefield.
As an example: SE & TH give with all their t4 buffs to their unlock units: hummel, flammer, Pioniere/TH: JP, hetzer, stummel, (berge at least with 2xt4)

Suggestions for the calli:
top t4 => increase damage of rockets
mid t4 => dual racks (already in)
bot t4 => activation of the maingun + 5 pop

Nah, come up with something more exciting/ different. Damage and more rockets practically achieve the same goal, just it comes down to personal preference on what people pick. Go for something like a fire dot, or slowing, or even gas.

Anyway, i think it would be better if each unlocked unit only had two t4's instead of three like you suggest. If you go for all three then all three would feel like they needed that extra unlock to be optimal, and you may just not have the unlock points left over, or the resources to fully utilize the T4.

Also, in the end, one of those is going to be the optimal Cali build, another good for other situations (so they can be mixed and matched), while the third just wouldn't synergies well for certain reasons, or wouldn't be as good. Yes three T4's buffing the same unit works for some doctrines, but then they tend to be the ones with a single high cost unit, not two like Armour.

sounds like a Angela Merkel II.... Cheesy

Forgot to say, having all three T4's buffing the same unit also acts to reduce variance as then that unit is always in use with that doctrine; people would then want more variety by seeing less of that unit... (unfortunately not taking it makes that tech less optimal (potentially)).

hey,
praxis is working different as theory too seems to be... Sad

dear alphaPIG,

there is a difference:
more damage makes it more effective vs tanks. more rockets = more AoE => better vs inf
