Hello everybody! I'd like to welcome you to my Project X-mas idea! I'd like to create a Project Zomboid competion where the goal is to survive from 7/12-13 20:00 to 1/1-14 20:00 (GMT +1).
I myself will ofc stand for the cash prize (50 usd) ! However, there will be an entry fee of 2 usd that will go directly to EIRR. The prize money of 50 usd will be donated by me to a serious help organisation. Which organisation it will be is up to the community and will be determined by voting.
The reasons for not giving the prize to the players are:
Cheaters
It is nice to start the new year by helping those in need
If anyone would like to participate, please post here and I'll update with some more info.
And if you would like to donate some money to the prizepool, send me a pm or write it here.
Maybe even the devs might be able to reward the surviving players with some reward cards or tags?

Shouldn't the winner determine what organization that would get the money? I'm partial to the small charity I work at, and besides what would be the point of winning otherwise?

Well I thought about that and I want to avoid something like "I want the money to go to me" or "the church of scientology".
But I just came up with the idea and nothing is written in stone. There are probably not enough interested people anyways.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

If it's only you and me eirrmod, we could do everthing on insane with a point system (collect spiffos 50 points, 1 zombie kill 1 point, survived the longest 100 points etc) and then do it live on broadcasts.
Might be fun.
