Lulwhat? Rocket barrage is the most random offmap availible, too much scatter too little rockets, pretty much useless if you want to kill anything.

Yeah you must be thinking of the incendiary barrage.

The rocket barrage comes down extremely quickly and has a tendency to annihilate most things in it's path.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Thats terror genius.

indeed and that is what i allways found wierd with the offmaps, when both of them were in the game super OP one was there to justify the other one yet only one of them was nerfed, sure the rocket arty got increased time between flares and drop but arty saturation was made into a mediocre AOE denial that coulnt even kill tanks in its early days after the nerf.

All i want is that it either be made into a reasonable offmap(in my dreams ofcourse) or atleast made so it wont instagib tanks and infantry without mercy.

The idea was to put out a launcher/scar and a small RGD patch, and then we were going to take a look at offmaps. Quite a few of them are ridiculously powerful or pretty much useless.

and how long has that idea been on the drawing board?
1 year?
2?

not to take a piss on you guys but you guys seem to have a lot of ideas but franky have the habit of putting all your eggs in the wrong basket, then leave them to go bad.
you guys have had some good change with the full implementation of the reward units and their doctrine upgrades added but so far a lot of the things have been broken sence 2011 and its getting kinda old getting the same awnser of "we are working on it" every month.

But hey, this is f2p so i guess i cant complain too much.

Reworking offmaps has been actively on the drawing board since December.

I spent most of my time over December being horrifically ill, and when I got back into it, we decided to disable doctrines to take a look at everything as a base.

From a balance perspective, we are now putting together a patch or two to adjust some things that are a bit out of whack now that doctrines have been disabled for a while. We aren't going to do everything at once but we'll be getting into it with smaller but hopefully more frequent patches. It's been a bit shaky getting things together but it should get streamlined soon enough - And when it does we should be able to RGD patch very quickly.

This means we will be systematically going through the base doctrine/non doctrine units, the offmaps, the reward units. It also means we can pick up any problems along the way and sort them out as they crop up too, instead of leaving things broken in the game for a long time.

@Aero: Vet'll get looked at properly later on, especially vet 4-5 as it's not too massive of a priority compared to other areas.
