In much of the reporting from Crimea and Ukraine I see a (extensive) use of the word "provocateur" that makes it look like generic profanity. It's provocateur this and provocateur that and it seems to have highly negative connotations. Is this a cultural heritage from the USSR era?

Haha what the fuck is that guy talking about. So apparently this is all part of a master plan on Washington's part to bring USA to war against Russia  . Start to finish it's "questionable" statements like "they (the Crimeans) took their fate in their own hands, Russia didn't do anything.", "under the UN rules, under the international court of justice, Crimea is totally legal to determine its own fate" and "they (Washington) think that they can win a nuclear war". What is really surprising is that this is a fairly influential American basically parroting what Moscow says. |

Putin doesn't use the internet (and prob not any media other than strongly pro-Russian which mimics everything the government thinks) and rely on his advisers to tell him about the world, so it isn't that much of a stretch to say that he believes most of what he's saying. But there's no way he believes the lies about the Russian soldiers in Crimea being "local self defense forces", he can't be that far detached from reality and what the Russian armed forces are doing.

ok, so propaganda aside... if both country's refuse to use nuclear weapons and actually had a conventional war.... who would win?!?!?!?! Who is better equipped for a conventional war? has more of a strategic geographical advantage? I have my money on usa. As big as Russia is, they just don't have any strategic advantage except there location on earth for this one. the west is not as puny as Ukraine. Putin can try and wave his little ego over Obama, but if the shit hit the fan Obama be smakin his wanna be stalinistic ass all ova Europe with the biggest, most advanced military ever built.
