I'm quite sure we joked about this before the game was even released.

Well that's their problem isn't it? If it allowed modding a lot of us would be playing that instead of buying their DLC  Roll Eyes

And I still can't believe they haven't added a PzIII.

I hope that will result in a direct faceplant. They are recycling old shit and they have still the nerve to resell it.

I am more amazed that Pz III isn't in EIRR yet.

Sega also note that the armies will be available separately for $12.99 each.

Well, hopefully this'll revive the game a lot and bring it closer the level of COH 1, as well as feature modding. Can't really do much to make COH 2 worse lol.

I doubt that it will sadly. They made no mention in the article about improving mechanics, UI, or becoming more play friendly in general. Just the standard "here's more stuff, now buy it!" routine. And even if a price wasn't tagged on it, I can only speculate that charging $13 for each army means that the expansion's gonna sit at close to $25. I have to wonder if they are gonna fix it to be more like CoH 1, because if not, it isn't worth that much money.

With the Elephant as a vCoH2 unit, I can't help but wonder what the US will bring in for AT that's not gonna suck arse.

Will they be relying on Hellcats and M10's again, or will they step it up with Sluggers as a vCoH2 unit?

Are they going to play out as their vCoH equivalent as an all rounder faction or are they going to change their dynamics?

Will the new WM section be another blob-o-matic faction (Lolz, vCoH PzGrens focus on blobbing for upgrades)?

Who knows, but I know I'm not coughing up those prices on release if I even bother to get them. Definitely gonna wait for a sale unless they turn out to turn CoH2 into a wonder-game.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

$20 for essentially the original factions in a game that has no modding..............

And there is no Commonwealth faction, I think I'll pass for now

Commonwealth has the ability to be the broadest faction, incorperating 6 or so nations.

Im still waiting on a WW2 pacific RTS, but i guess there would be alot of back lash portraying the cruelty and inhumane things the Japs did, considering the backlash of portraying the truth about the ruskies.

The article says that it's $20 for all, or $12.99 for each.

Read carefully, the article doesn't say and/or. It says the expansion is 20$ and the armies are available separately for 12$

It may be bad wording, but i smell fish

Yea playing US vs WM again is probably going to make apparent how bad COH 2 truly is compared to its predecessor :/

"Again"? The only thing the factions will share is probably the nationality which they depict. I'm pretty sure the equivalent of the US and WM factions in VCoH2 will be designed and play a whole lot differently than what they were in VCoH. Watching that twitch video the guy said the german faction has a unique way of capping territory among some other stuff, for example.
