Awsome 3v3:

Niko: US Armor
Heartmann: US Armor
Hicks: US Infantry

Vs

Darsin: PE Tankhunters
Icks: PE Luftwaffe
Crazy: Whermacht Blitzkreig

Location: Neuville

Reason for upload: A fantastic show of force by the armed forces of Whermacht and the Panzer corps, valiant struggle of Allied armor divisions, and their attempt to support the rangers who in heroic attempts tried to lead the way.

Now this is a subjective view, and I'm fully prepared to take on criticism and ridicule if there is parts of this match that don't at all seem useful, but please post and tell why, and ill try and find a better one Smiley

P.S.

The first 5 min... skip them xD (yes this time as well)

Not to mention all the bounces of InfHT's, depressing isn't it?

Either way, was a fun game of twists and turns.

was a bit depressing overall i didnt think the t17s did to well.  i think you avg some 8 kills a piece. it was really unlucky i saw two of them shooting a squad of grens for a bit and after some 10 shots killed one gren >.>

Another vCoH carry-over.

T17's are designed in a tiered environment where they would only be facing up against the earliest fuel based units. They also were balanced in such a way that they didn't skull-fuck PE which relies on a lot of early vehicles - The T17's gun would stop PE cold in vCoH if it had it's proper penetration values I imagine.

But on topic with the replay, I actually did something useful with infantry, which comes as a surprise for me considering I'm an avid armour (Vehicles, not the doctrine) player.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I would also say that t17s being competent vs vehicles would eliminate the role of an m8 in most cases at that point.

Theres a slight difference between beating up hotchkisses and beating up halftracks, that and it is 120 fuel, not entierly insignificant.

except ones an unlock, so why can it not make a faction wide unit obsolete.

Also m8 gets mg/mines/uparmor
T17 has naught.

except that hotchkisses slaughter both of them.  They have fairly well defined roles, I don't think changes are necessary for either of them.

In Vcoh pe-halftracks can be damaged by small arms fire unlike here, meaning it rapes them.
Watching replay now, aww yeaahh
Btw.: Someone should "make a first 5 mins" video compilation....

Wow this is game definatly, has its moments,

Heh, actually forgot about vCoH PE HT's being paper thin.

In which case I really don't have a clue why they designed it like that, but they did and it's the same weapon we still have.

Then again, vCoH balance after OF wasn't exactly stellar, never mind the introduction of ToV units.

I have to question the merit of needing a T4 to make a 120 FU LV effective vs halftracks.

the staghound is a strange unit: it can bounce on LVs but penetrate tanks from the back. it can totally fail at long range vs inf, or if spammed rape infantry in close combat. So basically a LVs blob unit

is there a reason it needs to be effective vs halftracks though?

Having a 120 FU T17 get face rolled by a single shreck clown car is kind of embarrassing and entirely possible.

But more importantly, watching a 37mm fail to get through a HT just looks... Wrong. Pretty much every other weapon works relative (Read: Relatively, NOT realistically) to it's life counterparts. For the most part.
