Marines will not get flamers.

How about adding back assault riflemen?   Tongue
that or maybe combat engineers?

The suggestion has been made before, but has the distinct possibility of ending horrendously due to the abhorrent amount of smoke the US can generate (with doctrines).

Mortar smoke
Smoke grenades
Sherman smoke (all variants)
US officer smoke offmap
US airborne smoke* (T4 unlock; was generated when AB units paradropped in)

Unless the smoke-generating units were made unappealingly expensive (see: trenchbusters) to prohibit spam, we might see expendable croc-RR-and-flameunit companies (moreso than ever before).

That said, you should be using all of that smoke to move your grenade Riflemen (and possibly flame Engies) into range--while not quite as effective as a Groundfire Gren-esque unit, it's comparatively cheap (the loss off a pair of nade Rifles and a flamer Engie won't impact your company as much as a pair of Groundfire grens getting pimp-smacked by a stray howitzer shell or surprise Cromwell crush.

Tl;dr, no.

* = part of a doctrine; thus it may or may not be returning, and may not reflect the direction EiR will be taking in terms of future development--i.e. don't assume we'll see it again.

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.
