Anyone else put off by the fact that most of the laser weapons seem to fire fully automatically...unlike in the original trilogy...as well as the fact that it looks like AT-STs are just cannon fodder for small arms, when in Star Wars canon, they're basically blaster proof until you start hitting the larger emplacements. I mean, Jesus, they can add the T2-B repulsor tank if need be, just, for the love of God, don't just make the AT-ST into useless target practice. Lump on top of that how pathetic the AT-ST seems to be against infantry (whom it should nuke with a single fire-linked volley, if the movies' explosive radius is to be believed...which it should...).

What EA did was take a gigantic shit on all of the memories of the original BF games and the fans.

Fuck them for what they have done with this game.

Looks like a nice reskin of bf4. Like hardline.


Only actual games i'm interested in are The division, Anno, and Ghost recon. Even then, it looks like the Division might be a disappointment.....

I think it's pretty unrealistic to expect everything from the movies to be followed religiously. However, yes it does seem like they included bazookas just to be able to fit into the Battlefield theme. I think that a Star Wars themed Battlefield would actually be decent to play but I am going to avoid it like the plague because it's EA. I would never pay 50€ for a full game with three maps only to have to pay another 100€ for map DLCs to play on the majority of the game's servers. Not including day one DLC and other EA shenanigans.

I believe Fallout 4 will be good because even though the DLCs for Bethesda games tend to be a linear isolated story in an open world game the DLC is released a long time after many patches and are by no means a necessary to play the game. Mods can improve upon most aspects of the game.
