I think the new system has its merits, and don't really mind it much. However, it also seems easier to abuse with infinite repairs. The old system rewarded good decision making better, rather than pure brinkmanship. I like brinkmanship, but it is a somewhat grudging vote for the old system from me, as the old one made you take risks that were more meaningful. Do you express your brinkmanship abilities by delaying that repair till you're down to 5 HP? Or do you express it by making your allies pick up for the slack you create with a 12 pop tank and 6 pop of repair peeps keeping you tip-top all the time? I prefer the former.

The new system is on the one hand more realistic than if a vehicle repairs itself and on the other hand can repair several units simultaneously and thus faster.
In addition, during the repair can be responded to an attack.

My only comment is that the new system creates the possibility of infinite repairs, something like a wear and tear mechanic would fix that tho.

Where is the option of the old old system with the repair bunker and free infinite repairs? I vote for that.
