Not really... Since Euro is about 1.5 dollars, then you had to pay about 45 dollars. I only paid 40.

It was 44 dollars but that's only 30 euros for me . And since we earn simular wages here in Europe the game's cheaper for us . (Online anyway, in stores we'd have to pay at least 50 - 60 euros, ripoff :/)

Soo... did they make it more fun than the beta? I played through a couple games of the beta and it was fun the first time because I was figuring out everything, but after that it seemed kind of boring. What changes have they made since beta?

Yea, I find games like that very slow and boring. Half way through you just do crazy stuff so you don't tear your hair out. =P

I enjoy campaign style games with a larger time investment. Its like quasi-persistency.

It's like civilization. Kinda neat the first time you play it. Boring as shit every other time.

Much different units and tech trees.
Vasari are masters of the capital ship smackdown with crappy econ, TEC are as always cheap and high economy, Advent go zoom and manipulate the battlefield and rely on buffing support units.
Oh yea, we have a Vent, huzzah!

Vasari don't have crappy econ - only to start off does it suck.

"go zoom"?
How much faster is the gameplay compared to beta3?
Does it also get boring after a few games?

Its all about how fast and hard you play. Some people like to turtle and build up, the counter to that is gambling on early raids.
And they go very zoom.

Nah dude, fast is just right.
Check this out: my vasari battlegroup before it was defeated by Apex's (loss: total(20 some enforcer cruisers, 2 kortul destroyers + flak and some missile boats), kills: 2/6 cap ships, quite a few frigates)) TEC Starfleet and Commander's traitorous battlecruiser.
