When I was creating a map i did not realize that I had ebps set to player 6. When I start, my units start shooting trees and bushes like idiots. When I pull a selection box around all of a particular object, the current obj. assignment is greyed out. Help?

Haha!  That's the worst!  When I made Crossroads there were a couple random sections of fence that were accidentally assigned to players, so units would just shoot at them all day.

What I would recommend is going into the entity list (it is in one of the drop down menus).  There is like one called blueprint list and one called something else.  One of those lists all the objects in the level.  Your best bet is to go down the list and try selecting all of one type of object and seeing if you can change the player assignment.

Though you should be able to just select box all the objects on the map and assign player.  What happens if you select smaller chunks at a time?

Same thing. The box is greyed out for all of those suggestions.

not sure if it is the way in the objects menu, but I now some objects/splats/splines won't let you change player ownership of multiple items at once. maybe if they are all the same object, but not different types.

I've selected all the same objects, but it still won't let me change the owner.

sonnenaufgang/bridge Iland also had destroyable wooden bridged assigned to players - leading to troops killing the bridge they stood on.

As bad as it sounds you may just have to reset the ownership item by item. however have you tried stamping an object to see if the ownership is maintained. if it isn't then just stamp out sections of the map, delete old section, and replace. (haven't tried the stamp, so no idea if it would actually work)
