You can't have it off for certain things, it'd either be all or nothing, but it most likely won't be turned back on unless Relic turns it back on... It's unfortunate, but that's how we roll...

I cannot laugh when a stupid teammate shoots my vet3 Tiger Ace in the back, damaging its engine and leading to its destruction.

And what kind of drugs are you on that you think firing at your own tanks on purpose is realistic?
Must be some pretty funky stuff if you also start to laugh when a teammate is killing your armor.  

Its not that a 50-ton tank is somthing so small and agile that dont realize that it is coming into your line of fire.

Yeah, maybe Apex and Relic are right.  It is kinda annoying now that I think back to it, especially in games with multiple team mates.

Maybe, it was still cheap of Relic to just turn off friendly fire rather than actually fixing the dumb tank AI.
