Allied tanks seem very useless in many battles that I happen to be fighting in. I'm using inf. about 90% of the time arty 5% and tanks the other 5%. They can't be fixed as fast as German armor, the inf have many many anti-rockets, and etc. Maybe something could be to make them little bit more even with the other sides.

I agree that, especially for an armour player it's hard competing with 120 mun Shrecks & PAKs which will just tear apart Shermans & M10s any day of the week.

However, once you get field repairs, fuel efficiency and maybe even Onboard mechanics, you should be able to compete just fine. Tungsten tipping is very important too.
It's not so much the tank vs tank that is a problem, it's the large amounts of AT Axis have on the field at all time on top of those tanks.

I agree, i have two panthers in my company and they total any allied tanks, no contest, a half hp panther of mine totaled two upgunned shermans with ease. The only thing that can stop my panthers is insane amounts of vet 3 recoiless or multiple at guns, which are imobile.

Shermans and m10's dont bother me in anyway, ill call in a panther, problem solved.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

And on top of those 2 panthers, people will have like 2 pak guns and 6 shrecks Smiley.

These are hard days for armour companies.

I've given up on using tanks beyond Crocs.

Field repairs, On board mechanics & Tungsten tipping are the only things that can keep mine running somewhat.
They won't even own enemy armour, they'll just manage to stay alive a little longer Smiley.

But if you're an Armour player, it's either ATGs or Shermans/M10s, there's no real alternative untill you get the pershing.

The problem is getting to that point Boob.  I too have basically abandoned allied armor.  I use my recoiless and 1-2 ATGs for my anti tank capability and I find it very sad.  Allies are paper, axis are aluminum and last longer.

Every game I've played we've managed to destroy all enemy AT and their tanks, and I'll have one or two M10s left. Don't have that problem.

Allied Armor are basically IFVs nowadays. Use them to kill infantry but don't expect them to live. Unless of course, you're a well developed Armor player, then they'll just be tough enough to have a better chance of surviving the battle.

When I play, my Pershing is probably the only tank that lives to see the end of the battle. Every other piece of Armor are basically disposable.

Pretty true Gamma, I dont think I can remember a time that I have actually off mapped a vetted sherman, normally if I get Vet during a battle it just dies on the way off map. Sad

Well that's why we built hundreds of shermans.

The frase German steel has its name...
Much came from sweden tho.

The Steel in German tank had a higher quality and the armor for the tanks like the Panther is Slooped (60%) This add extra way for the bullet to penetrate and gives a chanse for the bullet to slipp off

Did you know that a Pershing in a head to head fight with a Panther (no micro) will win with over 50% health left most of the time?

People will argue that Pershing is a T3 and that panther is available from headstart
