Valid argument indeed. But it's still worth noting...

you see considerably less tanks dieing to other tanks now a days anyways, which in a way is a good thing!
Almost all of my tank killing is done by manpack and atguns.

According to the list the Pershing is 75 FU cheaper than the Panther, so we basically get to T3 to get a 'slightly' stronger tank that is 75 FU cheaper?
EDIT: But then there are the Price deductions from certains abilities

Slightly stronger? I think you meant to say moderately stronger.

Slightly stronger? I think you meant to say moderately stronger. well, it is only available to one doctrine, and not everyone in that doctrine will choose it. If it is indeed reliably stronger then the panther, they should be happy numerically speaking the amount of people who should have it are a lot less then those who don't.

Yea, but Allied armour isnt supposed to be able to stand toe to toe with Axis armour; its the nature of EIR and in regular COH. That's what AP rounds were put in place for. Also, if Allies do outnumber Axis armour then there's a serious risk of tank spammage and with the current disputed state of MANPATs (shreks/stickies/faust) I'd rather leave it as it is.

Allyed Armor Players have the best k/d ratio.
Airborne HAVE the lowest!

I think you should use flanking with your infantry and armor to destroy Axis tanks it works for me. You might lose 2 or 3 shermans to thier one panther, but that Panther is fewer in numbers as your shermans are higher in ranks. Think about that.

Allyed Armor Players have the best k/d ratio. This has more to do with the people playing those doctrines than anything else. In addition, K/D sais very little, they simply use more tanks so they have less infantry casualties... Airbourne players have the lowest K/D because they have a tendancy to throw away all their airbourne .

So all the top 20 airborne player´s suck and all the top 20 armor player own. skill wise?
What about inf?
Oh also Salan, i guess i have beaten the record for being stupid with airborn.
Droped vet. 2 ab as defender into the enemy spawn protection (Drift and new system :I ) One squad made it out.

You don't have the stats for the top 20 AB/Armour/Inf, you only have the top 20 allied player leaderboard. And based on the leaderboard data I would say Armour has higher W/L mainly due to there being more better players playing armour. (Infantry & Airbourne are a lot more appealing to newer people I reckon)

In my experience panthers usually = a Pershing. But that has more to do with Shrekkers than anything else, methinks.
