Our 545th Airborne (ohnoahowie) and 352nd Airborne (DaysOfWar) divisions successfully assaulted and defeated the 75th Defensive (JebusOwnsYou) and 871st Defensive (Awake) divisions in a contained battle. Rumors from Germany are circulating that the Germans are out of men and out of bravery!

Come up with some more sayings for specific situations and I'll see if I can incorporate them. Smiley

use a table based on K/d ratio of teams...2 tables one for allies one for axis..this will determine how heavy a battle it was...maybe a table just for loses..maybe a table for armoured loses...like if 10 vehicles were killed in a 2v2 than it was a 5per player death which is a lot

that's a 2.0 functionality (recording loses etc), it is not incorporated yet.  AFAIK.

Allyed Continue!

News from the front:
Our 444th Infantry (MrHat2), 13th Airborne (thtbally) and 392nd Armour (Falcon333) divisions successfully assaulted and defeated the 403rd Terror (mfee), 33rd Defensive (StahlPuller) and 444th Blitzkrieg (PreussensGloria) divisions in a large battle. Rumors from Germany are circulating that the Germans are out of men and out of bravery!

A very Hard Battle. A KT made his apperance, killing some ab and drove of after reaching vet. 2.

The inf General was shot in the head for not bringing a triage center.
The 13th airborne took command and constantilly had to teach its fellow man.

The 3 Core Axis units stood like a wall. Heavy loses on both sides reported. IT came down to engys vs gren´s.

13th Airborn reports lose of all tank´s (again) and half its man. (5000 mp)

If we keep this up the war will be over by Christmas!

Our 111th Blitzkrieg (Bonte) and 218th Terror (xniper) divisions successfully defended our land holding back the 33rd Airborne (SilverMobius) and 9th Armour (SwissKnight) divisions in a contained battle. This follows a few other successful battles in the effort to stop the Allies. Hopeful soldiers everywhere are beginning to speak of a possible end to the Allied advance. 51st Airborne (Warlords51) just pissed his pants in sight of his allies getting crushed under our armoured treads.

Ucross, with the greater stat tracking coming in 2.0 I think it opens up a lot of possibilities for generating really custom messages based on variables like mapname, k/d, #vet units, etc.

So you could have a message that is like:

"Crack infantry of the 23rd Panzergrenadier Division broke through Allied defenses of Abbeville this morning killing over a hundred American and British conscripts of the 3rd Armored Division and 32nd Canadian Artillery Regiment."

The best part is that using a couple of different messages for each variable you could generate hundreds of combinations.

Am I correct in thinking that you could set it up my example something like this?...

If xp>X, random choice("Crack troops / Veteran's/ Seasoned men/etc."); else ("Elements/soldiers/troops/men/etc) of the [Division names and players] [broke through/assaulted/overran/were defeated at/were halted at] a/the (Based on map name: Town of Abbeville/peaceful Hamlet/German radar station/Crossroads near Carentan/etc) by [Division names and players] and sustained (many/few/unbearable/crushing numbers of/etc) casualties.  Etc. etc.

To be fair Das, it wasnt just airborne, we used combined arms to beat you.  Jaws mortars tore you up bad, along with Bar'd rifles, M10s and Shermans Smiley

So it wasnt just Airborne only that beat you.

Actually it was.  I will concede the mortars... but we killed all but the very last m10/sherman and that was only because it was GG at that point.

Airborne X3 was 90% the reason.

I understand that you would want to defend your company doctrine choice.  But even you must admit that when there are 3 airborne players that don't have to run to the front line, in the new MCP style game play it really makes it easy for you.  Hell even slowzo said that he didn't realize that you were all Airborne or else he would have played his infantry company lol!  I will await the devs balancing.
