I would have checked sooner but I wasn't sure if it was just my usual beginning lag or actual lag from another program, was my spyware checker that comes on every night at 2:00 am.I figured you would give me a minute after I minimized to try to fix it. This community is a very fair playing one. We don't kick people or anything of that nature. Seeing as your new to the mod I can understand you wouldn't know that since most people would just kick others out of a vCoH game. When one member of our cumminity gets attacked we tend to stick up for eachother.

So this is how games go from good > bad. Noobs join.....great, cant wait to see the state of the community after 2.0 is out.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

If I had the power, this would mean immediate and permanent ban. No warning.

Now now, we can just let by gones be by gones, nothing wrong with forgiveness. I'm sure everyone has been frustrated with my lag at some point or another.

Games without fresh blood stagnate and die. Could you be any more ignorant TodlichPanther or do you just want to be abusive to all new players?

Besides out of all the people who posted and was the only person to have had any reason to be bothered, Dr.Nick was the most mature about it, kudos to him. We kicked him because we'd gone through 10 minutes of staggered gameplay and didn't think it was going to be sorted by the time he'd given us a heads up the boxes had been checked, even then it was the 3rd time to vote but was only the first time we did.

The reason it became a problem here was because anthony came tooting his own horn when all they did was camp the territory they already had against people who was playing their first game of EIR. bravo, no really. Considering he has a rep for bailing on his team mates before a fight is started I guess he must have thought this quite the accomplishment though eh?

While I would have also waited for Dr. Nick, I'm not opposed to them kicking him.

You have to lag quite a bit to warrant a kick.  Those that do should spend more time before hand making sure they DO NOT lag the game.    The kick was just IMO.

The result of the battle afterwards is independent.

Every player is responsible for their connection and computer as is mentioned several times...  This includes disconnects, lagging, etc...  Wink  Like I said, match was fair and no one should be bitching about anything...  You can talk a little smack about a 2v3 victory, but that's called karma I believe.

The reason i came to this mod is because it is a friendly community, and kicking does not warrant friendly, no matter the circumstances, I will not be staying much longer if the impersonal tendencies of VCoH come thought here - one of the reasons i dislike the growth, people not understanding what the unwritten rules of this community are.

Perhaps we should make a written list then of EiR customs for new players. I don't think you can blame chaos or anthony for being mad at first considering you kicked me and tripple teamed chaos for abit, I'm sure you would have been alittle ticked off as well. Anthony was forced to move up outside your spawn because he had to cap territory to compensate for me since in this mod territory = pop cap. I'm sure we can put it behind us though.

I just wanna correct you since this seems to be a growing trend of slining bullshit around.  Ive never BAILED on any game, there is only 2 examples of me leaving a game after ready up in the entire 11 months ive been a part of this mod.  Also ive NEVER kicked someone out because of lag, dont really care what the devs say on this one its pretty much a community unwritten rule.  Since your new whatever, if it keeps happening though youll find yourself without any games to play as people like that tend to get blacklisted.

You will find yourself in games that have unplayable lag, the solution is not to kick them but to tell the opposing team you think the lag is unplayable and ask for a rehost or abandon.  You do NOT kick the opposing team member because that creates an unfair matchup.  Hopefully you learned from this and it wont happen again.

Have fun.

You still won, heck you even get to brag about it.
(You would've probably rolled them if it was an actual 3vs3 Wink)

Should lock your topic now.
